obama care media blitz does continue and today president obama will focus his message on the laws and the benefits for people with pre-existing medical conditions. this as the white house announces some 56,000 people and their successful enrollment in coverage during exchanges. that's more than double the enrollees for the entire month of october and all of this as the administration ramps up, too, december 23rd and the enrollment deadline for january 1st coverage, jim mcdermott, senior member of the house, ways and means committee. >> as we look back at the calendar, it was two weeks ago when they assembled this team, the senate and house strike teams and what was their task versus the daily barrage of messages that we'll see on tap from the white house. can you explain the difference? >> it looks to me like it's all one plan because you really have to keep pushing and letting people know and try and build momentum in the public the real problem here is public education, if you have never had health insurance before, you don't know how it works and you've never applied for it and

signed up for obama care. the administration now admitting that there were problems processing new enrollment records. meaning many of those who think they've signed up for health insurance may still not be covered come january 1st. elizabeth prann has the details in washington. >> there are additional fears with those who think they have already signed up. the glitch per taking to electronic files sent from healthcare.gov to insurance companies. they're called 834 forms. companies use them to bill consumers. about 1 in 10 of those forms are showing errors such as misspelling, missing entries or a duplicate entry. in turn, the companies can't complete the transaction if any of thesing innings are raised. the white house says it's still a work in progress for the contractors. >> they're making sure everyone who enrolled is enrolled and addressing the challenges that were particularly keen in the beginning of this process. on the back end, the 834 forms. >> republican lawmaker, vow the fight to repeal obama care in light the administration's flip-flop on allowing folks to keep their

to get to including the obama care website up and running a lot better than it used to be. first stretches of new york's commuter rail line are closed this morning after a deadly train crash over the weekend. four people were killed. more than 60 injured. 11 in critical condition. early morning metro north commuter train traveling south from poughkeepsie to grand central station derailed in the bronx. 100 people were on the seven cars which came to a violent stop just short of a nearby river. the train was only about 12 miles away from its destination and many were dozing off when the cars tumbled off tracks. tom costello joins us live from the scene. is there any indication about the issue of speed playing a role in the crash? >> reporter: that's the big question this morning, mika, because most of the passengers who were on said this train of traveling at a very high clip and the governor said he thinks speed was a factor and the engineer has told several people he tried to apply the brakes but they didn't work. that's the train behind me. there are four cars there. you can see

the page on obama care. today the president will kick off a new three-week campaign to refocus the public's attention to the positive aspects of the health care law. senior administration officials tell politico the white house will target different benefits of the law each day leading up to the december 23rd deadline to receive coverage by the beginning of the new year. roughly 100,000 people signed up for health insurance through the federal exchange last month. of course, up from the under 27,000 who successfully signed up for coverage in the month of october. meanwhile, the white house picked up a key legal victory yesterday as the supreme court said it would not hear a case challenging the law's employer mandate. however, a new poll shows one key group president obama was hoping would sign up for coverage, the so-called young invincibles, is the least informed about the law. gallup finds just 63% of adults under the age of 30 say they are familiar with the law. that's at least nine points lower than any other group, suggesting the white house, well, they've got a little bit of work t
